 In the following Terms and Conditions, the pronouns "we," "our," and "us" collectively refer to Coastal Bathroom Connections Pty Ltd (ABN 28 632 499 828). The term "you" pertains to the individual, organisation, or entity acquiring products and/or associated services from Coastal Bathrooms.

 Consenting to our Terms and Conditions

 These Terms and Conditions outline the association between Coastal Bathrooms and our customers, specifically in the context of transactions with our company, product-orientated or otherwise.

Your personal consent to these Terms and Conditions is affirmed through the following:

  1. Payment is confirmed for your order.
  2. Where applicable, a deposit is paid or confirmed for your order.

Such consent binds you to the Terms and Conditions determining the supply of your order from Coastal Bathroom to you, our customer.

 1. Products 

1A. Product Description:

Coastal Bathrooms attempts to accurately depict all products on our website, based upon information provided by our suppliers. It is recognised that there may be errors pertaining to our products and information provided to you. As such we retain the right to alter and amend any inaccuracies on our website, even after an order has been submitted.

1B. Product Variances:

Please note that products received may have minor distinctions from the images displayed on our website. This specifically pertains to colour and finish of the product, which may be perceived differently online in comparison to in person. Furthermore, there is often slight variation between products and batches, specifically in reference to tiles. Ordering tiles from different batches may result in different colouring or design. Coastal Bathrooms will not be held responsible for colour differentiation between products. Choosing to return items due to such differences will be classified as ‘change of mind returns’ and must adhere to our Return Policy.

1C. Product Removal:

Coastal Bathrooms retains the ability remove any products displayed on our website per our discretion. We reserve the right to delete or modify any materials, content or imaging displayed on our website.

2. Ordering

2A. Process:

An order with us may be initiated via our online checkout, directly interacting with our team in the showroom, or through contact via phone or email. Prior to finalising the checkout process, whether online or through an invoice, please ensure and confirm the accuracy of product quantities, colour selections, and ensure that all personal information is correct. Coastal Bathroom holds no responsibility for incorrect orders or delivery failures arising from inaccuracies in the details provided by you.

Coastal Bathrooms retains the discretion, to either accept or reject orders based on a range of factors. Such factors include, but are not limited to, availability of products, our ability to provide services requested, and any breach by you of our Terms and Conditions or other terms and policies outlined on our website.

2B. Invoice:

By entering into this agreement, you expressly acknowledge and consent to the conditions outlined within our Terms and Conditions, alongside any stipulations detailed associated with your order. Therefore, you recognise such conditions and stipulations are binding and applicable to the supply of products from Coastal Bathrooms to you.

3. Availability

3A. Inventory Status:

Availability for procuring products may alter depending on a variety of external factors. As such we recommend contacting us to confirm the availability of your selected products before placing your order. Please note that we only keep a limited amount of stock on hand, and that many of our items are specifically ordered in. As such, ensure adequate time for transportation and delivery is taken into consideration prior to the placement of your order.

3B. Unavailability of Products:

Under circumstances where your selected products are unavailable, Coastal Bathrooms will communicate such unavailability to you either via direct contract or prior to checkout (for online orders). Such communication may include the discussion of options including; order amendment, cancellation, or placement on backorder, in accordance with your preferences. We will contact you regarding any backordered products.

4. Delivery

4A. Information Responsibility:

Please ensure all information provided for delivery is accurate, as Coastal Bathrooms will not be held responsible for any issues arising from incorrect personal details. When placing online orders please review all details and selected products, as Coastal Bathrooms may not have the ability to update such details after the order has been placed.

4B. Delivery:

The delivery of products will be considered complete under the following circumstances:

  1. If delivered to the specified delivery location indicated in your order, as evidenced by postal tracking information.
  2. In the case of local pick-up, when the products are collected by you from the Coastal Bathroom’s Warehouse.
  3. In circumstances of local delivery, this will be evidenced by a signature upon delivery.

All expenses related to shipping your order are your responsibility.

4C. Shipping Time Estimates:

Any periods provided by Coastal Bathrooms should only be considered estimations for shipping times. External factors may impact the ability to deliver products within the estimated time-period. Coastal Bathrooms does not assume liability for any inability to deliver products within the specified periods.

4D. Examination:

Upon receiving your order, it is imperative that all items are inspected to ensure the following:

  1. The product is free from any damage.
  2. The products received are consistent with the order placed (colour, finish etc.).
  3. All necessary components for the product have been included with the order.

In the event of any damage to the product or missing components, please ensure you contact us, within 24 hours, via phone or email to convey such discrepancies.

5. Payment

5A. Payment Procedure:

Coastal Bathrooms requires full payment at the time the order is placed. Payment can be made through various methods, including Eftpos, Credit Card, valid Gift Vouchers, or Cash.

5B. Invoices

An invoice issued will:

  1. Qualify as a legitimate tax invoice in accordance with the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999.
  2. Include a detailed description of the products included in your order.
  3. Specify the method of calculating the invoiced amount, considering the unit price for each product and the quantity delivered; and;
  4. Incorporate any additional details required by A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999.

Upon receiving this sales order, please read and confirm all selected products, including style, finish, and colour, are correct. Please ensure any changes, discrepancies or concerns are communicated (via text, email, or phone call) within 24 hours of receiving the sales order. Failure to review the sales order and communicate any discrepancies (within 24 hours) may result in additional costs and restocking fees.

6. Returns and warranty claims

Upon receiving your order, please read and confirm all selected products, including style, finish, colour and quantity, are correct. Please ensure any changes, discrepancies or concerns are communicated (via text, email, or phone call) within 24 hours of receiving the sales order.

Failure to review the sales order and communicate any discrepancies (within 24 hours) may result in additional costs and restocking fees.

6A: Product Defects

Should any defects be discovered in your products it is imperative that you promptly inform Coastal Bathrooms. Please do so at the earliest convenience by reaching out to us through phone or email within a 24-hour time frame.

6B: Returns

Please note that any refunds issued will occur via your original payment method.

Any issues regarding the return of a product/s should be communicated to Coastal Bathrooms as soon as possible, preferably within a 24/48-hour period. You have up to 30 days to contact us and return the product. If no contact is made within these 30 days, it will be assumed all products are in good, working order and in compliance with the order placed.

1.1 Undamaged Products

Undamaged products may be returned, ensuring packaging remains intact. Contact should be made within 24-48 hours regarding the return of the products. Customers have up to 30 days to return the product to Coastal Bathroom.  Please note restocking fees may be applicable.

1.2 Damaged Products

Contact should be made with Coastal Bathroom by customers within 24 hours of receiving damaged products. After a 48-hour period, where no communication from the customer has occurred, it will be assumed all products received are in good, working order.  After such time-period, the return of damaged products will be at the discretion of Coastal Bathrooms. Additional costs may be associated such as shipping and restocking fees.

Coastal Bathroom assumes no responsibility for any damages occurring from direct delivery between third-party suppliers and customers.

1.3 ‘Change of Mind’ Returns

Please be aware that return of a product/s due to change of mind (i.e. change of style or colour of a product) will be at the discretion of Coastal Bathroom. There may be additional costs associated with a ‘change of mind’ return such as restocking fees.

6C: Warranty Claims

Product warranties differ depending on the specific product and its subsequent supplier. Additional warranty information can be sourced on our supplier’s websites. Coastal Bathroom will adhere to our Supplier’s warranty claim on the product provided our customer.

7. Liability

7A. Indemnity

Coastal Bathrooms agrees to indemnify our customers for loss or damage suffered in direct connection with goods and services supplied to the extent caused by Coastal Bathroom’s acts or omissions.

7B. Supply

Coastal Bathrooms reserves the right to refuse supply of products and services at our discretion. Furthermore, we reserve the ability to terminate any order or contract as suitably determined with any appropriate refunds being provided, if necessary, without the incurrence of any liability. We hold the right to alter, edit or remove content from our website and social media platforms without incurring any liability to our customers.

7C. Consequential Loss

Coastal Bathrooms will not be liable in any circumstances for any consequential loss, damage, loss of profit or loss of opportunity, for which you may suffer resulting from these Terms and Conditions nor from an act or omission by Coastal Bathroom.

8. Miscellaneous

8A. Modifications:

We reserve the ability to modify any provisions within our Terms and Conditions at our discretion. It is advised that our Terms and Conditions are reviewed prior to purchasing our products. Amendments made to these Terms and Conditions may only be applicable to future orders.

8B. Severance:

The determination of any term, clause or portion as illegal or unenforceable will result in it being severed from this agreement. The remainder of the document will remain in force.

8C. Governing Law:

This agreement is subject to the state laws of Queensland, and applicable Federal law.  Therefore, each party submits to the non-exclusive authority of the courts of Queensland.
